The Harris Hill Introduction to Soaring package: Are you curious about learning to fly a glider? We offer a 3-flight mini-course in which you will fly a glider and handle the controls while learning from an FAA-certified instructor. These three flight lessons will include debriefs after each flight as well as a ground lesson.
The package costs $500 and includes:
- 3 instructional flights in which you will receive flight instruction.
- Debriefs with the instructor after each flight.
- A 30-minute ground school lesson.
- Pilot’s logbook.
- FAA Glider Flying Handbook (pdf).
- Introductory 3-month membership in the Soaring Society of America (SSA).
- Introductory 3-month membership in the Harris Hill Soaring Corporation (HHSC).
- $80 discount on HHSC membership if you decide to join as a full-time member.
This package is ideal for those who would like to learn about soaring but are not ready to commit to a full soaring club membership. You need to be 18 years old or older. Contact us to schedule your introduction to soaring!
