Starting July 9th and running through the 16th, Harris Hill, The National Soaring Museum, and the Vintage Soaring Association will host the International Vintage Sailplane Meet.
For one week, you’ll see vintage and antique gliders of all kinds on display and also in the air!
The last time IVSM took place was four years ago and it happened on Harris Hill. The photos in this post were taken during that meet.
Owners and members of all nationalities will be on the Hill to display, attend seminars, fly at our historic soaring site, and enjoy the company of other vintage sailplane owners, restorers, and fans.
The public is invited to attend and should especially enjoy the colorful vintage ships of the days before fiberglass required most gliders to be lighter colors to protect them from the heat.
